Steps to transfer your current number to your new network

A porting authorisation code (PAC) is an alphanumeric code that you'll need to transfer your number to a new network. It'll be valid for 30 days after it was supplied to you. If you leave it any longer to start porting your number, you'll need to get a new PAC.

If the company you're switching to doesn't offer service in your area, your number won't be able to be ported. The number you're trying to port is no longer in service.
