The latest statistics for the most dangerous areas in Canterbury have been published by the Home Office .

Crime figures show the number of violent or sexual offences that were reported to Kent Police between May 2019 and June 2018 - the most recent statistics available.

Overall, there were 4,131 violent or sexual crimes in the Canterbury district over this period.

This includes crimes such as common assaults, grievous bodily harm and sexual offences.

Statistics on the police.uk website show how many incidents of this nature were recorded and the areas where they happened, which are broken down into wards by officers.

Kent Live has ranked every area of Canterbury, Whitstable and Herne Bay by the number of violent or sexual crimes recorded during this time.

24. Little Stour - 26

There were 26 violent or sexual crimes in Little Stour.

This made up 23.42 per cent of the crimes committed in the ward over this period.

There were also 20 criminal damage and arson offences, 17 vehicle crime offences and 17 other theft offences.

This made up 23.37 per cent of the crimes committed in the ward over this period.
