You: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) John Doyle Globe and Mail You is very, very good. It's been called "bonkers" but you can take that in a good way. Jan 31, 2019 Full Review You: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) James Donaghy Guardian It is smart enough to let us know that to sympathise with Joe is to be complicit in his crimes. Every time you feel you're being drawn in, the show pulls the rug from under you and reminds you that he is not the romantic hero you are looking for. Jan 17, 2019 Full Review You: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Anna Leszkiewicz New Statesman Its sparklingly cruel sense of humour is what makes it compulsively watchable -- through Joe's sardonic narration, the show displays a rare eagerness to ridicule its own characters. Jan 8, 2019 Full Review You: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Sharai Bohannon Anatomy of a Scream Podcast Network It's a surprisingly addictive little treat. This season is more fun than it has a right to be, and that's the f-word I'm missing from similar shows. Joe Goldberg is the kind of complex villain I love to see. Nov 13, 2023 Full Review You: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Graeme Tuckett Stuff.co.nz You is a neat inversion of the usual psychopath and serial killer thriller... Feb 16, 2023 Full Review You: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Joe Lipsett Anatomy of a Scream Podcast Network Badgley does exemplary work both on screen and in voice over as the dangerous milquetoast man of your dreams. The real revelation is how duplicitous everyone else is. Bonus points to Shay Mitchell as complicated queer (semi-villain) Peach Feb 11, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Ari C This was really season, I really enjoy that show , the twist and everything, the thriller part was amazing! Highly recommend! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/29/24 Full Review Nashville I The Gwen Beck character's badly miscast. Between her subdued delivery, her lack of expression and the lackluster plotlines, s1 is the worst of the bunch. Rated 1.5/5 Stars • Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 05/13/24 Full Review Blanka M Seriously, one of the best series I've ever watched. The first and the second seasons are my favourites. In the first season we start out fresh, meet Joe Goldberg and get to discover his psycho side. What I love is the fact that you can hear his thoughts, which makes me like his character much more. I know that what he is doing is illegal and morally wrong yet I don't want anything bad happening to him, just because we see it from his point of view. Casting Penn Badgley for the role of this stalker was seriously an extremely great choice, his voice and stare are just right for the character. What can I say more. I loved the first season and have rewatched it more than I can count. Would recommend Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/24/24 Full Review Audience Member The first season of you so quirky, dark and refreshing. Great storyline. Great acting. Loved it. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/19/24 Full Review lucas o Although perverse, A highly enjoyable series with great acting, and humour throughout Rated 4.5/5 Stars • Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/16/24 Full Review Maverick M Not sure how we're supposed to buy that normal people can so easily get away with killing multiple people, but I was practically addicted to this show for the first two seasons...
