Golden Tickets Treasure Hunts (2024)

CJ Hendry x Dropshop (curated by Phillips) is hosting an exciting treasure hunt event this Saturday, offering participants a chance to win exclusive prizes. The event, inspired by Willy Wonka's "Golden Ticket," involves searching for 100 inflatable crowns marked AIR hidden among 50,000 inflatable crowns marked SPARE. Those lucky enough to discover a crown marked with AIR will receive one of the 100 bronze crowns, each signed and numbered.

Scheduled for August 19, from 10 am to 5 pm, the treasure hunt will take place at Phillips HQ, located at 432 Park Ave in New York. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the venue while searching for the elusive crowns.

Additionally, there is a Part 2 to this event. On August 20 at 9 am, an online release will feature the sale of the remaining crowns. The number of crowns released will depend on how many were found during the treasure hunt the day prior. Alongside the crowns, a 62 x 62 inches drawing titled "AIR" will also be available for purchase.

The prices for the crowns will range from $5 to $5,000,000, and the exact price will be revealed at the time of the online release on dropshop.phillips.com.

This unique event not only provides an opportunity for participants to engage in a fun treasure hunt but also presents a business implication for CJ Hendry, Dropshop, and Phillips. The treasure hunt generates excitement and buzz around their brands, drawing attention from art enthusiasts, collectors, and potential buyers. By creating a thrilling and interactive experience, the event cultivates a sense of exclusivity and desire among consumers. Moreover, the online release allows for broader accessibility, expanding the reach of potential customers beyond those able to attend the physical treasure hunt.
